Dr Osborne has been in private medical practice for over twenty five years. He practices as both a General Practitioner and Sports Physician. He is currently the medical coordinator of the Queensland Academy of Sport and a Fellow of the Australasian College of Sports Physicians.

Apart from sports and general medicine Dr Osborne’s interests extend to dive medicine and workplace medicine. He is an external medical officer of WorkCover Qld and State Medical Assessor for the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport.
