Beres Wenck is interested in all aspects of General Practice and has particular skills in paediatrics, aged care and counselling. Beres does a session at Royal Children’s Hospital every week as a Visiting Medical Officer. She is a Past President of AMA Queensland and Past President of Brisbane North Division of General Practice which supports 700 GP's on the Northside of Brisbane.

She has been a Medical Director of a Cardiac Rehabilitation Centre and two large national aged care Research Trials. Currently she is on the Board of Health Promotion Queensland, Q Comp and MDA National.

Beres walks, jogs, plays tennis and enjoys snow skiing for personal fitness.
